When cooking I like a light salt that allows fine tuning with ease. This salt is flaked, small and ight and perfect for cooking. Others I have ordered come in large crystals which defeats the purpose.

Best salt to cook with, Morton brand kosher is too salty. It works great for salting your pasta water to flavor the pasta. I’m in Nashville TN and have only found this salt in one store, wish more stores carried it here.

I absolutely LOVE this salt. When I saw a Netflix culinary episode “salt fat acid heat” on Netflix by Samin Nosrat I HAD to get it. When I started implementing it in my dishes it honestly has changed my view on even the simplest of ingredients. This salt is less salty than regular salt. Which (at first) its a little getting used to how much to grab but after a week of cooking you can really see the difference in the food. I love to use it on steaks since the salt is less salty it has more surface area where it can draw that excess moisture from the steak and create a perfect Maillard effect.No wonder chefs swear by this stuff !It’s the best !

It was packed with another item in one of the paper packaging bags. It is a little beat up and some salt was in the bottom of the bag so it leaked. I didn't weight it because I don't think much leaked out.From Sacramento CA to Medford Or, it should not have been so beat up.

I love how the flaky salt just melts into whatever I'm cooking. Never going back to table salt!
