Great basic food to have on hand for your beaky friend!
The Higgins premium parrot food has a very nice blend of exotic nuts not peanuts but cashews, walnuts etc. I have a Senegal parrot so I do get her the larger feed but the nuts are too big for her so I usually break them open and I found the nuts are so fresh that when I break open the meats there's actually a bit of oil being visually pressed out of them ,I would call that extremely fresh! You can readily spot dried carrot slices and some mango or papaya and some dried banana slices as well as a host of many other ingredients, but that's the stuff that stands out to me when I'm handling the feed for my parrot. The blend that you receive in the bag is pretty well mixed up not too much of anything and not shorted on anything either it's just right and although my bird like other birds just lives to fling stuff, the bird does wait for me to bring the dish back full of food which it never did with previous feeds I used in the past. I might add that I came to the Higgins feed after having two really bad incidents at a local shop with infestation in the food and I don't mean moths I mean beetles, as nice as I thought it was to dispense the food individually as to what you wanted and different amounts for your bird their pest problem was beyond anything I was prepared to deal with. So fast forward I am quite happy with the Higgins I am going to explore some of their other varieties but I'm really pleased how my bird takes to the feed definitely looks forward to it and is excited to have it an overall I would say getting much more out of it than other feeds that I've had from other places pet shops box stores etc, but of course I do augment her food with a very large fresh variety of fruits and vegetables. Anyways I recommend it I'd say give it a try!!

The best feed!!!
My birds love this feed!! I mixed it with the other Higgins brand I ordered off here. It gives them a huge assortment of seeds!!
