Great value proposition
First impressions are very favourable. Slim, sleek, stylish and aesthetically pleasing with a very cool aluminium finish (literally). I purchased the Zenbook Flip 13 with IPS screen panel as opposed to the higher priced Oled screen model. IPS screen looks vibrant with good off angle viewing and the backlit keyboard (adjustable intensity) is responsive and feels good to the touch. Overall build quality is top notch.Being able to use it in various modes such as touchscreen laptop/tablet makes it a very versatile device for my daily use.Whilst a stylus is not included with this lower priced model, the laptop still supports 4096 level pen sensitivity with a compatible stylus which I purchased separately. I’ve not had the laptop for long but so far I’m loving the look, feel and functionality of my Zenbook without any issues to note thus far.It feels like a quality item and at this stage I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Fabulous little laptop
I love this laptop. As the bezel is small, the screen is a very good size. The laptop itself is not much bigger than a tablet but is so much more. It can be used as a tablet, although I haven't really used it in that mode much at all.The laptop is slim and has a solid chunky feel. It appears to be very well made and feels like a quality product. The performance is great for the applications I use. I can't comment on its gaming performance, but for everyday use, the I5 processor with 8Gb ram and 500Gb SSD is more than adequate. One of the best things about this laptop is how quickly it boots up. I haven't bothered to time it, but it's only a few seconds. The display is crisp, clear and bright, although I haven't used it outside in bright sunlight. The only criticism I have is that I'm not keen on the gloss finish of the screen. I find the reflections a bit off-putting sometimes, so I have to be more selective about where I use it.Overall, I am very happy with this laptop.

Good depending on use case
If you're using the laptop for general use it's a solid little thing. If you're planning on gaming in any way at all. Don't try, it won't play minecraft for very long before having a stroke lol. But as a general use case it's pretty solid.I still use it daily despite buying it like 3 years ago, however its basically just a speaker for me these days lol. That being said, when I did use it regularly, before I had a powerful laptop or tablet, it was a solid middle ground device. I needed something with Windows on, and I wanted something convient since my tablet prior to getting that laptop had died a while before. The tablet functionality definitly isn't as seamless as an actual tablet. But it gets the job done decently. The touch screen is great, it's quite light, the speakers are decent enough. Overall it's not bad. Just don't expect to do anything that requires a graphics card, bcs it essentially doesn't have an graphics power at all

Beautifully engineered...
Absolutely elegant piece of tech. Great size and easy to handle, fan could be a bit noisy but you can adjust it in MyAsus. Had some issues with the trackpad tapping so got help from Amazon support, once you adjust the trackpad settings in Windows that was sorted. Have to say the images in the advert is a bit misleading. There's no number pad in the trackpad as shown on the pictures and the box does not include a carrying pouch and a stylus for the touchscreen. All in all I'm happy with the product.

Disappointing
I was expecting state of the art laptop however1. Screen brightness is really low, cant imaging using outside2. There is no number pad that can be activated on touch pad3. Power button horrible, impossible to know whether its pressed or not.4. No accessories included i.e. stylus, laptop sleeve or usb dongle hub so looking at extra expense for buying the accessories5. when laptop is closed it touches the surface on one side but on another side it does not, so screen could be bend.6. when started first time it was super slow and felt buggy, after windows updates it looks ok.7. Backlight is ok for all the keys except first row of the keys where light emits straight into the eyes very uncomfortable.8. Key board is nice and quite except Backspace and Enter keys which feels cheap and noisy while tying.9. Screen has yellow tint when compared to other zenbook that i have.

Solidly built very good value laptop
Really well built laptop, feels much more solid than the 15.6" Asus x555l I use as the main PC. Its really fast to boot up and runs really smoothly though to be honest I don't do anything with it that could possibly stretch it. The screen is bright and vibrant. It also works really well in tablet mode though I've only used it this way for basic Web browsing. So far the battery life has been excellent. One thing to note is this model does not have the numberpad built in to the touch pad though it is shown in images on the site.

Great all rounder
This machine is very well built, it looks great, and it has a good spec. It's a great balance of quality vs cost. Bought for my daughter for uni. She had a zenbook for many years and it has been great in every way, and expecting the same from this one. Only disappointment was that it didn't come with the stylus!
