Rider-Waite-Smith® Tarot Deck

I love the colors in this Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Have always loved the imagery and had a deck years ago and recently began to miss this classic despite having other decks from various folks. It's nice to have the classic once more. Good quality cards with a nice thickness. Happy with my purchase.

Despite what many reviewers said, this is what the originals by Pamela Coleman Smith looked like. The colors were less vivid (thank goddess) and it's easier to grasp the meanings because I'm not overwhelmed by the colors. The deck and booklet smell a little weird so that's annoying but I'm certain it won't last. The cards are thin, which many seem to dislike, but I prefer this. They're easier to shuffle and sort for me. They're about the size/thickness of a deck of playing cards. A little thicker, since there's 78 instead of 52 but you get the idea. They'll be my primary tarot deck. They may wear out sooner but only because I'm actually going to use these! If you're worried you won't like them, that's valid. But I think, for the price, it's well worth the gamble.

Any Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck is perfect for beginners to get an idea on the symbology of each card to see the story being told thru the artwork on each card. Beautiful and classic artwork close to the original Rider Waite deck.

It's got the look of the cards sitting out in the sun for a couple of weeks. The colors are half washed out. Take the yellow-box deck and tone the color by 50%. There's definitely a "rustic" feel to it. I think a really nice variation of the original, but it has its time and place.

Love the deck, but buy a book with it. The booklet is tiny and has a sentence or 2 for each card and doesn't even agree with most tarot books

The original deck was very unpleasant to look at! My eyes like the colors on this version better. Excellent quality cards for someone who doesn't primarily use physical cards.

Very dark and depressing. I wanted to like them but I’m getting negative vibes from it. I can get a better deck from Etsy. I’m sending it back.
