I bought this during the great food hording/prepping of covid 19 Spring 2020. The $$$ machine i wanted was out of stock, and my 2nd 3rd and 4th choices, all $$$$, were, too. So the nice surprise was finding this and getting curious- investigated the brands very English web presence.What sold me on trying it was the web page and being able to down load and read the entire operating manual on line. They have not missed a detail. The booklet, in perfect English, is expertly formated and good.My primary use for this: using the tube sealer to vacuum seal my mason/kerr/ball jars full of lentils, beans, rice, sprouting seeds, and home dried veggies, fruits, and herbs. Using the bottle sealer to vacuum seal glass bottles full of crafted vinegars and flavored oils- super nice. Extra bottle plugs are easy to find on amazon.I keep dry storage in glass jars. I'm a great cook, so hungry or not, mice seek out my house. Vacuum sealing is magical for dry items in long term food storage.The only change i made was adding a handy outlet plug with an on off switch. See photo. The machine draws power when plugged and i like to control that. Almost all my small kitchen appliances have these.This machine draws few watts and can be used with my modest 80 watt solar panel and single matched 12volt 35amp battery and 400watt inverter. It has auto shut off when the right pressure is reached. It is a beautiful little machine.Good find.

I wish I had purchased a vaccum sealer long ago. I could have saved a lot of money. This sealer works as described. One reviewer said that they could only seal 5 or 6 bags before it would not seal anymore. There is a sticker with red lettering on top of the appliance that says seal 5 bags then let the machine cool down. Another said the appliance wouldn't vaccum all of the air out. The directions say squeeze as much air as possible out of the bag before attempting suction and sealing. Simply read and follow the instructions and there should be no problem. I sealed about 40 bags on the first use. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I bought this to replace one of a different brand that went belly up. What I really love about this one, besides the price, is it has built in bag storage and a cutter. It was nearly impossible for me to cut the bags straight before. Also, it came with an extra cutter and an extra gasket. As well as sample bags and the equipment needed to vacuum seal wine and reusable bags.

I gave the scale a way. It's way too small when you're measuring quart size bags Etc. My 10in wide scale works so much better. But this little machine has great suction power I can tell that it does way better than the seal-a-meal that my neighbor has. It has the option of wet food or sealing dry food. Easy to use, just remember to push down hard on front corner till clicks then press wet or dry button.

Let me start by saying that I have waited awhile and used the product before reviewing it. So after over a month of use the sealer is working excellent. I have used different brand bags with no problems. I've used it with the Quick Marinator from Food saver and it worked fine. What I like about it most over my old sealer is the vacuum it produces. It noticeably produces more vacuum than my old sealer which is probably due to the size of motor. For the price the Bonsenkitchen sealer has all the amenities that other sealers have for double the price. This is totally a good buy.

I LOVE this gadget and wish I had gotten it long ago. It’s super easy to use and my food doesn’t get freezer burn any more. Highly recommend.

I am tickled to death. As soon as I opened this amazing vacuum sealer, I had to use it. I put my leftover turkey in the bags (that came with it) and hit the "moist" button and all 3 bags sealed beautifully. I had to find the scales (because I was to excited too read the instructions)
