Easy to use water bottles, look good, and slim bottle so it can easily be slotted into a school bag. My kids love them. They are leak proof but once we lost a small seal from the lid, after which the bottle did leak. Contacted ion8 directly and they sent us out the spare seals immediately, which solved the leaking problem. The only disappointing feature is the bottles do scratch quite easily and start to look worn out if not handled with some care, but for the price, I will definitely buy these again for all of my kids.

Nice sized bottle, keeps water very cold and is leak proof. Only downside is pin hole on top of where you drink, as water spills out when I'm drinking out of it.I like the lilac colour.

My son is loving his new water bottle…ordered in his favourite colour, yellow. It keeps his water cool, is durable, easy to use and most importantly it doesn’t leak! The flip switch is pretty tough and works well and my son can manage it no problem. Fingers crossed it is robust enough for school!

Ther green bottle in the photo is my old model, insulated bottle and the blue is the bottle under review that I just purchased. I love my old bottle, it’s been on several adventures, 8 flights and numerous road trips, perfect bottle and quite robust. Sadly my wife lost hers and somehow acquired mine so I needed a replacement. Found the blue bottle at what looked to be a bargain price and ordered, it arrived today.The bottle is excellent value but quite different from mt previous one, it has a larger capacity, is not nearly as robust, different design but still a good on. No leaks and good cap, excellent design as it has a small hole that allows a fast flow of water when drinking although you do need to keep the hole at the top otherwise you will get the odd drip. However, I had to return it as it had such a strong smell that I simply couldn’t use it, even after several wash’s and an overnight soa, pity as its other wise a great bottle.

Really nice looking product but bit of a design flaw on the drinking lid. There's another small hole at the top, presumably intended for hot drinks. However needs to be covered up when drinking, otherwise the contents will spill over you.

I bought this specifically for use in the car. It works brilliantly for me.The capacity is decent enough for most journeys. It's narrow enough to put into the centre console holder (though I have it in a 'stubby holder' to take up the slack / stop any rattle). The press-button-cum-flip-top lid springs opens brilliantly with one hand, and the narrow spout is easy to swig from safely whilst on the move.Out of the car ... the rubberised cap is very easy to grip to undo for a refill, and the coarse thread is easy to screw / unscrew. The neck is wide, which makes it really easy to refill and straightforward to clean. The carry ring flips out from the lid, so it's out of the way when not in use but it's easy to hang the bottle off one finger when carrying a bunch of other stuff to the car.I've only stored it vertically so, although the lid seal seems secure, I can't comment on how well it would work if, say, it was chucked any-way-up into a rucsac.Overall it's a really nicely designed water bottle that (I think) comes in other sizes, and in some funky colours.

I really wanted to like this product. I’m so disappointed that it neither insulates well nor does it take minimal handling.I drive an unconditioned school bus. I just need it to keep cool or hot, but could sacrifice either for longevity. Sadly it does none of these.I ordered with prime. Said it would come within 2-3 days. Came 2.5 - 3 weeks later.I normally only come on here to praise how great things are.I return with no comment things that don’t meet my satisfaction.This product and with dread the larger bottle said to be on route has been such a disappointment.I want to buy carbon neutral products but this bottle minus the lid, is such a disappointment .

I was looking for something short and slim that would hold at least 18 oz and most importantly does not have the part where you would drink from uncovered/exposed like other small bottles do- why would anyone want to put their mouth on a part that is not covered and potentially exposed to dirt etc? Anyway I looked at over a dozen similar sized ones and this one checks all the boxes for me.

I didn't do my research. This was smaller than anticipated and it is not insulated and doesn't keep the drink cold for long. Also, lots of condensation. The lock gets in the way of drinking as well. BUT, I do love the color!
