My hair is looking fuller after taking this supplement for 6 months. I was also taking finasteride at the same time. I’m not sure if the supplement contributed, but I’m seeing some progress with my male pattern baldness.

My hair is thicker on the sides and back, but no new growth on the front/top at the hairline. I have no thinning at the crown. After 5+ months, I expected nore from Viviscal. Not sure it really promotes new growth where the hair is thinning along the hairline. I'm switching to an RX product that has Finasteride/Monoxodyl.

I hate giving this product a one star review. That’s because after over a month and a half of use it was beginning to thicken up my hair and fill in the bald spot in my back. Unfortunately had to quit using because of joint pain in my knee. I saw another review where joint pain was an issue. I am a 77 year old male who hikes 6 days a week. My hikes aren’t walks in the park but workouts up and down steep terrain. Have been hiking for decades and this product had an adverse impact on one of my knees. After I went off Viviscal the knee pain subsided in days.

Worked with a colleague whose wife was an esthetician. She told my workmate to suggest this product (Which I’d never heard of) for me. Cool!?Let’s face it……loosing your hair sucks. Embarrassing , and kinda private. But I bought the women’s formula and patiently took it for months:These are the rules……if you can’t handle these simple concepts.
