Q: Does it fit a 48x24x29 table?

I talked to a professional linen supplier and I was told that if your table is a 96" x 30" (29" high) this is a standard 8 foot banquet table. If you want to cover it completely where the table cloth touches the floor, choose a 90" x 156" table cloth. If you want it to go halfway down, choose a 60" x 120". I was also told that it is okay for the table cloth to touch the floor even when you have chairs around the table.

What size tablecloth are you talking about and what size table are you talking about? A 90 X 156 cloth on a 30 X 96 table that’s 30 high will just touch all around.

Drop on each end should be roughly 10 inches - ideally, a 116" length for that size table.

Yes, it would fit an oval table of that size. The only thing I would note (or potentially recommend): That may result in additional ironing time initially to ensure there are no line creases/wrinkles from the rectangular packaging stored in, but nothing that would require a strenuous effort.
