They look okay. I got them besause I thought they would have a better grip on slippery surfaces - they do! Can''t wait for Winter with Frost,Ice and Snow to see how they cope with that, I think they will be better than normal footware as more of the sole connects with the ground and all the small indentations grip a smooth surface like little suckers making it impossible to slip or slide about.

I bought these in black as preparation for the summer months.I have recently had an overhaul of my wardrobe and bought a range of new clothes.I bought a lot of black and darker shades.These Vans will have little difficulty slotting into my wardrobe.Have had Vans previously, with Vans they pretty much do what it says on the tin.They're comfortable, fashionable also reasonably priced @£35.That said, there little to dislike, with the Vans range.

As someone with flat feet, it's kind hard to break into shoes. But with these, I don't have that issue. Love them
