Love this jacket, great mid-weight wear. As with a lot of Barbour jackets, the sizing is a bit odd. The Large was too narrow for my shoulders, but the XL was too big.

I believe the jacket should be reviewed in the proper context. I lead wilderness trips and make use of technical clothing with the latest materials that provide the maximum performance with the least weight. That is not what this jacket is about. In addition to being an outdoors person, I am an Anglophile and a bit of a closet Luddite. I have coveted a Barbour coat for years. What finally tipped the scale was this fantastic price. On a scale of how much this is like a Barbour jacket, it’s definitely five stars. That’s pretty much why I came to this party. For those interested in detail, it is a boxy design, offset a bit with the waist drawstring. However, like many of these features that employ barrel locks, the adjustment is prone to slippage. I ordered the olive color. I’m guessing I got it. It’s very dark, but not jet black. It’ll do. Feature-wise, it’s about as loaded as you get with a Barbour without adding the options. I like it very much and, if you’re kind of a Barbour person, believe you will.
