Very good sound & microphone quality, if you have the right settings & USB 3.0 Port.
I purchased this headset as an upgrade from my Corsair VOID Surround as I wanted something with wireless capabilities. Initial impressions of this headset upon opening the box was a very premium feel. The headset feels very sturdy and the memory foam feels very high quality.A note to say, the headband of the headset can feel a little sore if used for a long period (2 hours+) but ultimately it comes down to the shape of your head and how far down you have the headset on your ears. The earcups are detachable and can be washed but be aware that memory foam takes time to dry out and be careful with the porous leather. The cups can spin out a full 180° range so they can sit on your chest flat comfortably. When I plugged in the headset to my PC, Corsair's iCUE software picked up the headset immediately but I had no mic activity when I tried to talk on Discord. This was seemingly a common issue with a lot of people but I found the answer is down to the cable that is provided. It HAS to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port for the wired USB mode to have enough power to charge as well as produce high fidelity sound and great clarity on the microphone.Sound is great on wireless mode, even better on wired but only audiophiles will be able to tell the difference.Personally I found the sound from the headset to be a little disappointing on default EQ settings but with a little tinkering (turn that bass UP) the headset starts to sound great.Wireless range seems to be a little smaller than advertised, but it will still reach even out to the back garden of my house. Doesn't really have the noise of signal breaking up, if it's going to cut off, it will cut off.Overall I am very pleased with this headset. It feels very premium, the wireless functionality is very good and the battery lasts around 12 hours of heavy use from a full charge, would probably last longer without the LED's constantly changing and having the mic unplugged.

Amazing headset with few issues
I ordered this headset on boxing day 2022. Fantastic sound quality from the earcups and brilliant microphone. Used daily for online gaming and chatting to friends on discord.Pros:Strong frame and durableAmazing MicGreat Sound QualityLittle to no sound leakageGood software to accompany the headset (iQue)Cons:HeavyEarcups only lasted a year and had to buy aftermarket padsMicrophone died within a year but the warrenty replaced it in no time. All in all a great headset for the time I had it BUT I ended up having to return this headset in October 2024 as the microphone and headset kept cutting out. Thankfully with the 2 year warrenty I was able to send back to Amazon for a full refund and got the Virtusio XT as a replacement.

Wireless Quality and solid build
I have upgraded to these from a set of Hyper X which are very good, by far the best you can get for the money but not wireless obv.So the corsair Virtuoso SE arrived already with enough charge to plug in and play for an evening straight out of the box, they were recognised immediately by the ICUE software, there was a short interlude to download and install a firmware upgrade but that had no problems and we are away again.I find them very comfortable and I wear glasses, obv my head is a different shape to yours and your milage may vary.Sound - some reviewers seem to find them lacking in bass I had to turn it down a bit from what I would have set in eq for the Hyper X set, the Corsair presets in ICUE are rubbish - make your own and tweak to your hearts content, the drivers are plenty big enough in these headsets bad sound is almost always down to software presets being very flat and bland. Also these are plenty loud on my system good job i'm old and deaf already. My Pc is quite new and built on a Corsair case, Memory, Fans, Headset Stand , Keyboard, Mouse and RGB mouse Pad (no you dont NEED one but you WANT one) all Corsair so ICUE is kept busy.MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Mb I use the onboard sound and it is excellent again depending on your own setup your sound will vary. The wireless is again excellent I can walk all round the house with no dropout, even down the garden path most of the way,not that I really need to.Charging is no problem when I am not wearing them just plug in the cable to the stand (or your nearest usb port) and they charge quite quickly and seem to last at least a couple of evenings before the very nice female voice informs me from the ether that I need to charge them, she also pops up when you turn the mic on and off with the button at the base of the mic.Rgb is fine, not that you can see it when your wearing them but it looks good when your charging them on their stand with all your other ICUE peripherals.Online on Discord I went to my FF ARR guild to see what they thought and they all reported my voice sounded much better than on the Hyper X, more natural and a bit warmer, the sidetone feature in settings is useful too so you don't end up shouting when online as it blends a bit of your voice into the signal from the mic so you can hear yourself, very good in a shared house.I can only recommend this set but as always read up on them watch a few reviews on Youtube (Hardware Canucks,Jayztwocents etc). You pays your money you takes your choice, but I reckon these are very good for the price.
