All Sales 96105K Black powder coat Grille Bowtie Emblem Combo Kit

I have an '09 Malibu 2LT (Golden Pewter Metallic) and these really made my car look cooler in my eyes. They go really well with the black grill on the front of the car and my tinted windows. While I do love the stock emblems, the bright yellow bowtie was just too tame. These black emblems are thinner and slicker than the angled stock emblems.A little tip: buy some extra mounting tape. There are a couple strips on the emblems, but you're going to want more. And make sure you line up some tape to plug up the holes left behind by the stock emblems. These 96105K Chrome emblems do not have any poles or plugs to fit into the original holes. They are just 0.25" thick metal plates powder-coated black. Also, the back emblems did not "curve" well with my slightly concave trunk lid, so some fancy mounting tape placement will be needed. Test your placement before removing the last tape strip and sticking it to your car! The front emblem went on pretty smooth, as the section where it goes is slightly recessed and the emblem curves well with the bumper. It's just the rear emblem that's kinda funky on my car. There's a small gap between the emblem and my trunk where rain can get to the holes and get into my trunk, although I haven't seen any signs of water damage. Again, check your tape placement before actually sticking it on. I've resigned to saying "oh, that gap of air will help keep the emblem cool in hot weather so the mounting tape won't melt away".

I purchased a set for my Suburban and they were perfect, so I decided to buy a set for my Malibu also. I didn't pay too close attention to the title that says "chrome" because the picture was of a black bowtie. There were also accompanying comments stating that it was only the front bowtie. I received front and back black bowties. The label on the package reads that these are for 08-12 Malibu's. They match the size and shape of the factory bowties and are easy to install.The reason for 3 stars: The product description should match exactly what is being received. Secondly, the automotive tape that comes with them are fairly thick so the there is a gap between the vehicle and the bowtie. I recommend removing that tape and buying some thinner tape at an auto parts store.

The emblem is nice with a smooth finish and no blemish spots in the finish either. Only problem I had, which was the biggest problem to have, is the bend of the emblem to match the bend in the bumper was not right and I had to work on it a good bit to get it to fit right. Once I finally got the bend right and stuck to the bumper, it looks really good and is holding up great to the weather and sun and debris.

Not even close to the correct size for an 09 tahoe as advertised

Do not fit my 04 Malibu, but the description and Amazon sure say they do. More and more items that do not fit. Getting very disappointing. Basicly they are the same size in th package and the shapes look right but the front is to small and the back is way to big. There is no getting around the size issue due to the fact both front and rear on my car are inset in the chrome bumper and trunk lid strips. And nothing else says it fits. Going to have to try measure and see if I can find one the same size...

I put these ion my 2011 malibu and they look good but the adhesive was pretty thick. And the rear emblem didn't curve to the shape of the trunk so the right side doesn't touch. But if u can take that adhesive off and get 3mm instead they should work great!

Just received today. Was excited to put them on but they are not the right size. Amazon says they are the ones for my 09 Suburban but they are both too small. Directions say that screws are in provided for installation and they are not even in the package. Finally, the part number on website says its 96105K, but the part number on package is 0109 as seen in the picture.

These bowties are great. Solid, heavy aluminum with a smooth black powerdercoat finish. Exactly what I was hoping for. My one warning though: be sure to check the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION to see what model Chevy they're made for. Amazon said that it would fit my '08 Suburban, but the product description said it was for a Malibu. I guess I didn't find it inconceivable that it could fit both vehicles, so I went ahead and bought them. Oh well... lesson learned. Amazon was very helpful with the return/exchange process though, and my new bowties are on their way.
