This is a great looking hat & I highly recommend it, if your choice. I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because it seems very well made but I have only had it a short time. Things to keep in mind: Unlike fabric (wool. cotton, leather etc) these hats are made of reed/bamboo & are not as flexible. They can break and crack. You have two options when wearing...brim up or brim down! Otherwise reshaping may require a professional steamer. That should not be necessary since there is such a great selection to choose from. These hats look & are great for both men & women.

I used it for what it was intended to do.

I placed these in a hat that fit me big; it made the hat a little more snug, but, I didn’t get the tight fit I wanted. It could be that my hat was way too large for my head and I was expecting miracles.Overall, I’m happy because it was a rather inexpensive buy.

I wear a large hat so got a large felt hat from Amazon. It's slightly too large so got Ultrafino and put it inside the band inside the had and it fit perfectly. It was a good solution for me. My head seems to be a size between medium and large so this was a good solution for me. In fact I have another hat that I think will buy another package for.

Good design! Gives you just the right amount of snug tohold the hat in place. You can customize it to work for you. Can't speak to longevity, time will tell, I'm not there yet but, it feels right. Good buy, gets it done.If not, then you ordered the wrong size or the hat just sucks. And...I've had a few expensive hats that nothing could save.

They work, and are easy to use. I've learned since ordering a pair, however, that I actually prefer to slightly enlarge a hat's opening with the Hat Stretcher rather than use these strips to slightly decrease the hat size. And, quite honestly, it's not exactly rocket science to adhere some strips of fabric, sponge or foam that you already have at home to slightly cinch up your hat's opening... but hey, they're easy to use and ready-to-go.

This hat size reducer is perfect. I bought it for a straw hat I that was ever so slightly too big (a frequent problem I have). I affixed the foam strip to the underside of the sweatband (in the front of that hat) and then reset the sweatband in its correct position so that the foam strip was between the sweatband and the hat itself, and it works perfectly. I now feel that I can wear the hat without it being blown off.Whoever invented this should be given a medal.

Strips were not long enough to fit around the full interior of the hat band and did not quite take up the 1/8th needed. For the price, I expected better

Looks like weatherstripping. Don't be a fool like me, go buy it at the hardware store instead and save your money.
