VERY well insulated - silent & sturdy!!
Got this to replace my now old Horizon/Switchcraft 1/4" TRS instrument cable, that one had been stretched at some point thus shearing its internal insulation somewhere down the cable causing some strong noise. This cable is fantastic, nice and thick insulation makes it silent and reduces chance of stretching it. The ends are bulky which is nice for plugging/unplugging but can get cumbersome. Sadly the ends aren't servicable but oh well, they're built so well I doubt I'll need to replace this in the next 8 years. Here's the interesting part, I'm using it to power my Line 6 Variax guitar which is fed 9V DC through the ring of a TRS instrument cable. Coincidentally this is the "new"/updated "Planet Waves" product, the Variaxes originally cake with Planet Waves TRS cables to power them but they suffer failure often being so thin and the ends being unservicable. So even with me feeding 9V DC through 8t this cable is SILENT, super happy!!

Quality cables at a good price
Replaced a 20 foot Neutrik cable I’d had for years with a 10 foot Daddario cable, this cable feels of absolute quality and transfers really great sound from my 7 string Schecter to my Scarlett 6i6. Recommend them highly.

Tips are oversized. DO not buy.Great company, just following a dumb new fad that breaks all your stuff.
No these are not 1 star cables. They are great, awesome and durable cables. But you need to know that some gear of mine rejects (EDIT: ONE end, the "shielded" end of) the tips of these cables. I researched a lot and and did not think they were oversized, like some Monster cables are, because I knew that would stretch your connectors. But alas, if you have:- Focusrite Scarlett interface- Line 6 POD HD500- Studio monitors- wireless systems- any guitar- I seriously don't have one thing that works with theseThen do not buy them and buy any of the regular or even premier Planet Waves cables. NOT the American series ones or whatever, they have larger ends.

Better than most leading brands
Better than my fender custom guitar cables.

Serious musician with no regrets.
Sound quality increased considerably over my "bargain" cables. I had considered buying a pair of the high end brands, buy I think this was a good alternative and definitely the better value for your money.

Sounds OK but lots of RF interference
This is a decent sounding cable. However, it is not very well shielded and as a result it is likely to capture RF interference. Since I live in an area with high RF, this cable doesn't do me much good. There is a "shielded end" and a "non-shielded" end so I tried it in both directions, but there was no difference. I compared the amount of RF interference to Monster cable, Canare, even Rapco, and the Planet Waves was the worst offender by far. In fact, the RF interference was as loud as the signal itself. I might have been able to live with it if it had been buried in the noise floor, but this was just plain unacceptable.Basically, "Planet Waves = Garbage" and I will never purchase another Planet Waves cable again.
