Volta 31-560932 Ebony Wood Finish Watch Case

Purchased this after using a Volta 8 watch glass top version for about 5 years. The previous version’s interior took some time to show some wear but the boxes themselves are rock solid. I don’t rotate as much these days, so I’m hoping to get even longer out of this box. AND, I’m still using the old box, it was by no means garbage.

I have some large diameter watches and the pillows in this box are wide enough to provide proper separation of the cases. It is a very nice box, with excellent fit and finish. I didn't experience any of the issues discussed in other reviews, perhaps the quality has improved over the years.

Beautiful finish! Materials are solid! Interior is leather. No complaints at all about it, and I would buy another because my collection grew. Unfortunately, the seller has raised to price from $229 to $299 in the month since I bought it. A little too pricey now for me to buy another!

I purchased this item earlier this year, and was very pleased with the quality. I just looked it up again to buy another as a gift, and the price has nearly doubled. ( I paid apx. $159 ) I think I'll pass.

I honestly would not recommend this product. It looks beautiful, but felt kind of cheap. The lock did not work easily and the hinges felt flimsy. The watch pillows move about freely within their slots and I found that just picking up the watch box off from the table would cause way too much movement. For example, I put my watches on the pillows and in their slots face up. When I picked up the watch box (not rotating it or anything), the watches would rotate within their slot so that they would be lying face down. Poor design.
