I replaced my other picture wire and clips with these and put up another 14 picture frames, the clips do a very good job, you need a good wire cutter, watch your fingers when threading, a jagged piece pierced the skin on my finger. Cant complain as they are very good, need more fixings now. Well worth it

Nice little kit, good quality wire, I didn’t actually use it for hanging pictures, I was using it to create a bail handle for my zebra billy can, and it worked beautifully, so if you have got here for that reason buy with confidence, ok it’s quite a lot more than is required for a small bail arm for a billy can but now I can also hang some pictures.

Great for hanging framed artwork

Searched high and low for a sturdy metal wire to hang some heavy pictures. This set really useful, wire easily cut to length and crimped closed.

In the beginning when I saw the pictures I thought should be easier. The system is good but very very very hard to press the crimpings at the end of the wire. They described as suitable for curtains, but the curtains that I put on the wire they are not heavy at all and they stay hanging, the cable is not straight. We tried a few times and with different system and screw, but still no straight.

After reading other reviews I ordered the draper wire rope cutters and they are billiant! The wire cuts cleanly and fits easily into the crimps and the wire cable is strong and perfect for the job of hanging heavyish artwork!

The wire is uncoated, extremely thick; too thick to thread through the provided crimps that, in turn, won't crimp over the wire. I'm sure that the wire is capable of supporting a very heavy frame. Threading the wire through the provided loops is easy enough, but the wire is so thick that it will not wrap around itself and - as I say - the crimps don't crimp. Useless. And my fingers are full of tiny bits of wire splinter.
