Cute!
I'm a teacher who has a student that shares the character's name. This was a really cute book! The class loved it and my student was thrilled to hear her name as the main character.

Joy and love among with one coin in hand
Fiona's luck is fingery magic like tipaa tapaa shoe, and you are allready dancing. It is bringing joy and what I most like about Fiona is the fact that she is real. Lives in world of star magic and wonder. But reall witty. Witt from Fiona brings you not a snuggy or snail smile. It brings you magic among eyes, stars in the pocket. Wonder it is, is Fiona your ever wonder magic wisdome! Grab a potato, have a fun, earn a coin and never forget who you really are. ;)...

Great book for St Patrick’s Day!
My kids love this book and so do I. I was looking for more unique books for St Patricks Day. I love the artwork in this lovely little book. It’s a little long and wordy for my 2 year old but it’s perfect for my 4 year old. The two year old still loves the photos, and it’s become her “nap” book. She picks it whenever she’s tired and falls asleep while we read it almost every time. I wish I could get it in hard cover.

Absolutely perfect!
This is a wonderful children’s book! I’m Irish and this is a great way to introduce children to the Irish culture. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous! They have a real depth of feeling that brings the story to life. I would probably read this to children 4 or older. It’s not brightly colored and is a bit long for little kids. Enjoy!

Clever and Enchanting
I remember when Fiona's Luck first came out. One of my fellow librarians and I literally squealed with delight when we saw it. We said, "St. Patrick's Day. Reader's Theatre." And that is exactly what we did. Once a month, she and I did Reader's Theatre with library books at a local bookstore. This was one of the featured books.Fiona's Luck is a delightful story with a clever twist. I didn't know how Fiona would resolve her problem until she actually resolved it. Not many people can match wits with a Leprechaun King, but Fiona manages admirably. As wonderful as the story is, the reason we two librarians squealed with delight was the charming artwork. Kelly Murphy (good Irish name!) creates an Ireland that is both realistic and enchanting. Even in the heartbreaking barrenness of the first few pages, magic lurks in the corners. Her use of color and lighting effects for setting mood is masterful.

Can’t Read It Enough!!
Bought this for children aging between 2-8yo; all were interested. It’s the perfect length for a great story, the illustrations are beautiful, and it’s truly one of few books that my children have asked repeatedly to have read, re-read, and re-read again. An absolute must for St Patty’s Day!!

Merveilleux conte irlandais
