Designed to do no less and no more than keeping your core warm, the light and packable Capo GS-13 Wind Vest can be thought of as a sleeveless version of the company's excellent GS-13 Leggero Wind Jacket. As an integral part of Capo's "Gruppo Sportivo" collection, the GS-13 Wind vest works to keep your core warm and protected by using a blend of Capo's advanced materials. WindTex makes up the bulk of the vest's construction, which contributes to the warming sensation of the vest. However, its main task is to block out the wind and rain. Featuring a triple-layer composition, this membrane is both wind- and water-resistant. Additionally, the membrane is exceptionally breathable, so you're able to check off all of the boxes on your list -- breathability, warmth, and dryness. Capo's Micro Quattro was also applied to the vest, as this material is a malleable microfiber that holds and maintains its shape along your body. This means that the vest moves with you as you ride, ensuring that your core remains protected, regardless of the various positions demanded of you while in and out of the saddle. This fabric also provides antibacterial and effective UV protection. The GS-13 was finished off with light elastic treatments at the arm openings and hem, and a full-length front zipper was added to make putting on and removing the vest a simple affair while on the bike.
