US Shell, 1 Piece, Sea Sponge, 7 to 8 inches

I'm using it for painting on fabric, and this sponge has shapes on one side that looks like trees. The sponge I received is just like the one in the photo.

Used it for zoology

Love the size. But I’m removing 4 stars because this sponge was not treated and the smell was nauseating. I had to wash with antibacterial soap multiple times and then soak it with Lysol for two hours. And there was ocean debris in the sponge. After I rinsed the Lysol out the sponge still smelled bad. I throw it away. NASTY! This seller ought to be banned from selling. Really? Sending customers untreated sea sponges? Yuck!

Bathing

Sponge was dry and brittle. Pieces of it falling off. I have had these sponges before and properly seasoned they should be flexible and last a long time. This one was used once and almost ready for the trash.. Not recommended.

This is unlike any real sea sponge I’ve ever bought not at all good n would never buy again.
